Frequently Asked Questions

What time is the service?
As of May 30th, 2020 our Sunday Service will be hosted on Saturday evening at 6:30 PM*

*Weather permitting*

What will you do if it rains?
We will make an announcement by 3:00 PM on that Saturday whether or not we will be having service that evening.

What is the address of the venue?
11295  US-231. Cottonwood, AL, 36320

What is being done to enforce social distancing?
All Serve Team volunteers are screened before entering the venue.

All Serve Team volunteers will be easily identifiable by wearing a Church at the Crossing t-shirt, lanyard, and facemask to answer any questions on how to effectively follow social distancing guidelines.

All Serve Team volunteers will be issued facemasks to wear the entire service and hand sanitizer to ensure the safety of our guests and themselves. Volunteers that are distributing consumables such as coffee will be taking on more precautionary efforts to ensure the safety of everyone by wearing facemasks, gloves, and preparing your cup of coffee.

Our trained Serve Team volunteers will be monitoring the 6ft social distancing recommendation from the CDC when our members arrive on-site, during our time of worship, and when service ends.

Hand sanitizer will be given to each family when they enter the amphitheater. *While supplies last*

We will have constant reminders every ten minutes from volunteers on how to stay within the CDC guidelines from the stage.

We’ve mapped the entire venue with the 6ft social distancing recommendations with tape to help you stay within all the safety guidelines from the CDC.

Our volunteers mapped all seating arrangements within the amphitheater with 12ft of space for families and are at least 6ft apart from other attendees.

When to stay home?
We recommend that if you have any symptoms of any illnesses to please stay home and watch the service on all our online platforms via Facebook or Youtube. If you’re more susceptible to contracting COVID-19 (i.e elderly, pre-existing conditions, etc.)

What do I need to bring?
Bring your own seating for the service. The venue is outdoors, so bring a lawn chair(s) or a blanket(s) for you and your family to sit on during the service. The church and the venue will NOT be providing seating. You are more than welcomed to bring personal-sized umbrellas, sunscreen, and waters. We ask that you don’t bring pop-up tents or beach umbrellas.

How long will the service be?
Our services will be no longer than 1hour and 15minutes.

Will there be bathrooms?
Yes. All bathrooms will have an attendee to disinfect surfaces regularly to ensure the safety of our guests and Serve Team volunteers.

Will there be designated areas to sit?
Yes. Our Usher Team will be escorting families to their seats following the social distancing recommendations from the CDC. Our Serve Team also mapped off sections for guests with disabilities.

Will there be ASL interpreting?
Yes! We have a designated area for our friends who are hearing impaired. We contract an ASL Interpreter to provide services for the duration of our worship experience.

Will there be something for kids?
Yes. Although we’re not providing childcare for this service, we’ve prepared an activity packet just for them as they sit with their families during our time together.

What if it rains?
While we are expecting perfect weather, our plan would be to offer a Livestream experience. We will make an announcement, concerning the weather, no later than two hours before the event.
