The Crossing Growth Track
Church at the Crossings Growth Track is a catalyst to help you become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. The Track offers the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. From the initial decision to accept Jesus as your Lord to your final destination in life-changing ministry, we will lead you step-by-step from healing to growth and into a fulfilling leadership role.
This class is a basic introduction to the ministry of Church at the Crossing and will help you understand church membership. This class takes place the first Sunday evening of the month.
This class guides you through the essential beliefs every Christian needs to find success in their walk with Christ. This class takes place on the second Sunday evening of every month.
We want to help you realize what makes you so unique. This seminar will help you discover your personality, gifts, and purpose in life and see how God combines them for the best fit in ministry. This class takes place on the third Sunday evening of every month.
Attend an orientation or training session in the ministry area of your choice to learn more about how to be involved. This class takes place on the fourth Sunday of every month. The Growth Track is complete when you join or start a ministry team.
Dream Team Opportunities:
Set Up/ Teardown- Each Sunday morning equipment is brought from storage and set up to create the worship experience for that day. We believe that every Sunday will be someone’s “that day”, the day when God transforms their life. You can be a part of helping create “that day” for people who attend or visit the Crossing.
Small Group Leadership- This team is the heart of Church at the Crossing, because we believe that real life change happens in the context of relationships. Small groups are the greatest opportunity for you to connect with others, fulfill your passion and live out a life of ministry.
Prayer Team- This is an organized team of trained intercessors who cover every area of The Crossing with prayer from ministries, services, events, pastors and staff. They have an emphasis on attracting the Lord’s presence through worship.
Preschool- Join this team in leading children into a dynamic relationship with Jesus. Each week, children experience Bible Story time, music, crafts, and other hands-on activities during church services. The goal is provide a fun and safe, God-centered environment where children can play and learn.
Bulletin Prep Team- This team of friends is having fun putting together the Bulletins so others can take notes, keep up with current events in the Church and worship God with their giving.
Kids Crossing- This team helps create a place where each and every week children are boldly exposed to the love of Jesus. Invest in the lives of children by serving in a ministry that is both energetic and effective through small groups, worship, videos and skits.
Greeters- This team loves on people and enjoys making them feel welcome. They serve by opening doors and handing out bulletins in order to welcome guests into an experience with the Lord.
Student Ministries- Shift is a one generational meeting that combines Junior and Senior High together into a powerful and unique worship experience. We strongly believe that this generation of students can do more, see more, and be more, than any other before it. From engaging services, to age appropriate small groups, and retreats, it’s our goal to connect you with a ministry that will change your life. It’s time to join the movement. It’s time to make the Shift.
Ushers- This team prepares people for a positive worship experience by welcoming guests and members, assisting with seating, communion and the offering.
The Crossing Worship- This team leads the church into worship, either vocally or instrumentally. Use your musical abilities and talents to lead people into a dynamic worship experience with God.
Service Production- This team runs sound, lights and video production for all services. You can serve in an area with video set up or assisting with lights and sounds.
Hospitality - This energetic team serves coffee and refreshments while greeting and welcoming guests and members to Church at the Crossing. We are “hosts and hostesses” of the Crossing.
Computer Check In- This unique team focuses on checking children and new families into Kids Crossing, Preschool/Nursery. This team is the first impression many families have of Church at the Crossing, so come ready to make them feel welcome.
Crossing Resources- This team assists guests and members with questions while also providing information on service times, small groups and events at Church at the Crossing.
